'The problem is Elon': Fired Tesla manager slams billionaire for tanking sales and company stagnation
Ex-employee of Tesla wrote an open letter titled "Tesla Employees Against Elon", alleging that Elon Musk's statement about cutting spending and spending less time on DOGE and "focusing" more on Tesla is "tone-deaf and insulting".

Elon Musk, the Tesla owner, is once again surrounded by controversy after a former manager of the company recently accused Musk of halting the company's growth, revealing that he was fired for speaking the 'truth'.
The manager, Matthew LaBrot, wrote an open letter titled "Tesla Employees Against Elon", alleging that Elon Musk's statement about cutting spending and spending less time on DOGE and "focusing" more on Tesla is "tone-deaf and insulting".
Matthew LaBrot wrote on LinkedIn, ¡°I was fired from my dream job at Tesla. Pretty punchy headline, right? Unfortunately, it¡¯s not clickbait, I was let go from Tesla nearly two weeks ago."

What did Matthew LaBrot say?
LaBrot went on to mention in the post that people might wonder, How is that possible? Weren't groundbreaking changes being made by you and your team? Elevating engagement, strengthening knowledge retention, and inspiring a renewed dedication to training across North America? The answer is clear: Yes, they were.
He also made claims that his or his team's job performance had nothing to do with his firing, adding that he was terminated because he publicly spoke against Elon Musk.

The manager's message in his letter
LaBrot's site mentions that the damage done to Elon's personal brand is now irreversible, and as the public face of Tesla, that damage has become our burden.
Then the manager in the message mentioned, "We are now at a crossroads: continue with Elon as CEO and face further decline as customers abandon the brand, or move forward without him and allow our products and mission to succeed or fail on their own."
Additionally, Elon Musk's recent claims that he is refocusing on Tesla are not only tone-deaf, they are insulting. It implies that the hardships of the past six months stem from a lack of his attention.
It unfairly places the blame on those who have been the backbone of this company. To be clear, we are not the issue.
