'Want them to take a break': Why ARMYs are not happy about speculated BTS 2025 comeback, 2026 World Tour
A BTS comeback is all fans could have asked for, but they are not too happy with recent K-media reports suggesting the group will release an album in 2025. Fans are of the view that the septet should be given enough time to rest before they debuted BTS 2.0.
2025 is the year when BTS reunites, we have known, but a recent report suggests there's more! According to a new K-media report, the septet, including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, will return with a full album release in the second half of 2025 and will embark on a World Tour in 2026. While ARMYs have been waiting for this moment since 2022 when the group announced their brief hiatus to pursue individual activities, they are not very happy with the latest prediction.

BTS comeback in 2025, World Tour in 2026: Report
On December 23, Lee Hwa Jung, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, predicted that BTS will make a comeback in 2025 with a full album release, marking a significant growth in HYBE's overall sales of the year. The following year, BTS will embark on a World Tour as a companion piece for their album to boost further sales for their label, he added.
HYBE had earlier hinted at a 2026 reunion for the group, allowing members a considerable amount of time to rest and recharge after RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook complete their military service in July. However, Lee explained that the company will push the septet for an early comeback for an instant spike in revenue. He reasoned that while K-pop acts under HYBE, such as SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), ILLIT, and Jin, have been successful, nobody has managed to step into BTS' big shoes.
Why ARMYs are not happy with the report
Fans of the boy band, known as ARMYs, are not too happy with the latest report, even though a BTS reunion in 2025 is highly anticipated. Many cited that the boys should be given proper time to rest before an album release which usually comes with months long press tour and promotional activities. Some concerned fans also highlighted how embarking on a World Tour right after an album release will leave them little to no time to rejuvenate, which could impact their health.
"Tbh idk why it's good but I think it's better for them to rest. We should not get our hopes. Nothing is confirmed now..... Instead if telling them to release an album, we should tell them to rest," wrote one fan.

"I don¡¯t believe KMedia. Just BTS. If it doesn¡¯t come from them directly, then I won¡¯t get too excited yet. To be honest, I don¡¯t mind if they just rest first in 2024 & do some fun vacation/game shows like Run BTS or In The Soop/Bon Voyage, etc. Looking forward to their reunion," wrote another fan.

Meanwhile, a section of netizens also called it 'wishful thinking,' asking fans to not trust K-media and not get their hopes high until the boys or BigHit makes an official announcement.
This is NOT confirmed by BigHit or BTS themselves so respectfully stop with the Hypothetical news.

All members of BTS are expected to reunite in 2026 after they complete their mandatory military service. While Jin and J-Hope have already been discharged from the military, RM, Jimin, Jungkook, and V will return home in July next year. Meanwhile, Suga, who has been serving as a public service agent, will complete his service in June 2025.
