Four Youth Kidnap, Assault Man In Madhya Pradesh, Record Video With ¡®Pawri Ho Rahi Hai¡¯ Meme

A man was allegedly beaten severely by four youth on suspicion of being a police informer, the recorded video of the incident in Madhya Pradesh¡¯s Rewa district has surfaced.

The incident took place in July this year but videos of the brutal thrashing surfaced on social media on Tuesday. One of the videos show the perpetrators clamouring out Pakistani influencer Dananeer Mobeen¡¯s ¡°Pawri ho rahi hai¡± meme while beating the victim, Indian Express reported.

They kidnapped the youth from his village and took him to Rewa town, where they kept him hostage at a house for night and beat him up. The incident took place in July, but video went viral on social media on Tuesday. Police have registered a case against four accused. pic.twitter.com/p3I5ZPo15x

¡°We have got the information on Tuesday about the video pertaining to the thrashing of youth by his friends in July. An FIR has been registered against the four accused on the victim¡¯s complaint,¡± Rewa¡¯s Superintendent of Police Navneet Bhasin told reporters.

The victim, identified as Amit Pandey, told reporters that he was on his way to his native village Khajua when the four accused - Prince Patel, Suraj Prajapati, Lalla Pandit and Shadab - intercepted him in the night.

¡°They accused me of giving information to police about the sale of their 10 boxes of cough syrup (sold as a narcotic substance). They brutally beat me up for three hours in Khajua. Later, they took me to Rewa and thrashed me again till morning,¡± he alleged.

Meanwhile, multiple videos of the assault surfaced in which the victim was seen being hit with sticks, slapped and kicked.

In one of the videos, an accused was heard saying in the local dialect, ¡°This is me, these are my friends and we are partying.¡± As he completes the statement, all the accused shout and start kicking the victim.

Bhasin revealed that four accused have been identified. He said that two of them are already in jail (in other cases), another one has been detained and search is underway for the fourth accused.

Earlier in October, a woman thrashed her husband and his alleged girlfriend in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

The video of the incident went viral. In the clip, the 30-year-old woman can be seen grappling with her husband first and then attacking the other woman standing nearby.

Koh-e-Fiza police station in-charge Anil Bajpai said a 30-year-old woman, along with her sister, reached the gym where her husband was exercising in the presence of his alleged girlfriend and others.

She suspected that her husband was having an affair with the woman in the gym. She started hitting the latter with shoes while others including the man tried to stop her. It continued for 10 minutes. Both of them lodged complaints against each other.
