An Affair To Un(Remember): Man Shockingly Leaves Wife And Goes On Honeymoon With Her Best Friend Instead

Separating from someone you have once loved and cared about is a very tough process. Especially, when you're married, moving on takes a lot of time. But if you see that ex-lover moving on in no time, it hurts even more.

But a woman was left heartbroken and betrayed after her husband of four-and-a-half years left her for her own best friend.

As far as this woman was concerned everything was going great between her and her husband. They were deciding to treat each other with a honeymoon that was pending for several years. They even stumbled across a huge sale at a luxury hotel they'd been wanting to stay at for some time, and it even had availability when they'd be in town. They both decided to book the hotel in the evening.

When the woman reached home, she found her husband's behaviour fishy and he didn't seem excited at all anymore. He instead of booking the hotel asked for a divorce. She told Divorce Diaries, "Everything after that is a blur, but I can picture his face and how nervous he was. I was so, so, so, so shocked, but I know I asked him why and he just said, quite coldly, 'Because I can see that I'm not in love with you and this marriage is not going to work out.'"

The woman was devastated and so were her loved ones who questioned if there is someone else in the picture. However, things got worse for the woman after she noticed her group of friends began acting strangely, and she found herself left out of events and social gatherings.

She then thought of inviting another friend who also hadn't been invited to the various events out for breakfast to make herself feel better. But, when she arrived, two of her other best friends were there.

They all seemed nervous and told her that one of her good friends from the group is dating her husband. After that, she tried calling her friend and the husband but no one replied. She also went to the friend's office to confront her, but it was told to her that she was on leave.

This is when she recalled how she and her husband were supposed to be on their belated honeymoon at this time. After asking a few friends, she came to know that her friend and husband had gone for a trip to that hotel.

After coming back, her friend and the husband told everyone how they started dating only after the marriage broke. But the ex-wife didn't believe it. "It was complete bulls*** and I know it. How do you suddenly go on a romantic holiday with someone you've only been dating a handful of weeks?"

Now the wife is over her husband and it has been over two years since this happened to her and she's finally gotten over him.
