Man issues ad about losing his death certificate
A man in Assam issued a newspaper advertisement saying he had lost his death certificate. No, we aren't making this up.
For the unversed, a death certificate is a document that can only be issued when a person is dead.
In the now-viral ad, the man claimed that he had lost his own death certificate. "I have lost my death certificate at Lumding Bazar (in Assam) dated 07/09/22," the advertisement read.
He also furnished further details like the registration and serial number of the certificate, along with his name and father¡¯s name.

Meanwhile, speaking of bizarre ads, a woman in Australia earlier took out a full-page newspaper ad to get revenge on her cheating ex. What is more interesting is the fact that she did so using her ex's credit card.
"Dear Steve, I hope you're happy with her. Now the whole town will know what a filthy cheater you are," the ad read.
It wasn't even the best part of the ad. The classic punch came at the end of the message, when Jenny informed Steve that she had bought the ad space using his credit card.
"P.S. I bought this ad using your credit card."
The newspaper later announced that it had been inundated with messages from readers about the ad that appeared on page four.
"We do NOT know who Steve is, but apparently he¡¯s been very very bad," the newspaper said in its Facebook post.
"We won¡¯t be revealing any details about Jenny. We have not charged the credit card in question," it further added.
