Woman Worships Mona Lisa Painting With Garland In Bizarre Bengali Daily Soap Scene

The bizarreness of Indian daily soaps is unmatched, and from time to time one or the other scene becomes the butt of memes on social media.

From Rashi¡¯s antics to crazy husbands putting cockroaches in their wife's glass of milk on the first night - we have known bizarre. Now, a scene from a Bengali soap opera is blowing people's minds. It appears no matter which language, Indian soaps will always find ways to defy logic.

The ridiculous scene shows a woman worshipping a portrait of Mona Lisa and putting a garland around it. If that wasn't enough, she goes on to light some incense sticks and worships the portrait.

Netizens claim the particular scene is from a Bengali daily soap called Gouri Elo. We're just not sure what is going on, and it would help if the makers of the show could enlighten us about the logic or the lack of it behind this show.

Needless to say, desis are tripping on the screenshots that have gone viral. Some were also posted on Twitter and users were left dumbfounded at the very sight of the scene.

Last year, a scene from a Hindi daily soap showed a groom swallowing a cockroach with milk on the night of his wedding.

This scene is from the show named ¡®Dil Se Di Dua¡­.Saubhagyavati Bhava¡¯ sees a couple get married and go back to their room to celebrate their first night after the wedding. But the groom played by Karanvir Bohra, is doing very strange things on his wedding night. The scene shows a cockroach crawling up the bride¡¯s (Smriti Jha's) shoulder that scares her.

But what happens next is totally weird. The groom steps in and tries to kill the cockroach. But when the bride stops him, he actually puts the cockroach in his glass of milk and drinks it. Seeing this, the shocked bride faints. We fainted, too.
