Viral Video: Biker Barely Escapes Getting Crushed Under A Fast Moving Train In Mumbai

Whether some people agree with it or not, driving a two-wheeler is pretty dangerous. But what is more dangerous is how owners of two-wheelers have no regard for road safety and can slide from one place to another just to save a few minutes.

This is what happened in Mumbai where a biker barely escaped being crushed under a speeding train. In a bone-chilling video that has now gone viral, a speeding Rajdhani Express train can be seen smashing a two-wheeler. But thankfully, the biker escaped this horrible accident in the nick of time.

In the video, it's clearly visible how the biker was saved by a few seconds. Instead of waiting at the signal and letting the train pass, this biker decided to save a few minutes and decided to ride on, ignoring the red signal. As soon as the biker stepped on the tracks, it seemed as if he understood the train was rushing towards him, and he discarded the motorcycle and tried to flee. While he fell, thankfully it was on the other side of the track.

The train can be seen zooming past and the motorcycle was damaged horribly. The man is then seen walking away probably only with some bruising¡ªhe was seen limping after escaping the oncoming train.

The clip has gone viral since being shared on Twitter. It was shared by senior journalist Rajendra B. Aklekar. He posted the video along with another one of a similar incident from last year when another biker also escaped without being hurt. ¡°Smithereens 2022¡­ bike and train,¡± he tweeted.

People were amused and shocked to see this incident and filled the comments section. Many even criticised the biker for being so irresponsible just so that he can save a little time. "So his bike got destroyed, he must have experienced the shock of 440 volts, he has injured his back... All of it happened while trying to save a few minutes. This is called Lene Ke Dene Padhgaye," wrote one netizen.

Another wrote, "Level crossing is closed, respect the Gateman of Railway, who done his job." He added that if we ignore the rules as many do at a traffic signal on the road, s serious mishap is guaranteed.

This guy shud be brought in and prosecuted, possibly be given a long term imprisonment. The train could have also met with an accident risking the 1000s of innocent lives onboard.

Bikers are always in hurry and no traffic rules apply to them.
Jumping signals, riding in opposite directions, blocking traffic etc etc.
Sometimes they are not lucky and pay the price with their lives.

The difference is 2021 guys did it by mistake unintentionally, but this 2022 guy did it all knowingly and intentionally. He tried to be a hero and ended up with zero in hands.

If the biker would have waited for even a few seconds then the speeding train would have crushed him to bits. This is why road safety is so important and even showing a little bit of responsibility can save several lives.
