Moonwalk Gone Wrong? Video Of Bloopers Shows Astronauts Struggling To Walk On The Moon

Behind-the-scenes or BTS is not just limited to films, TV shows, or even news channels. Like acting professionals, people from other fields also make errors while working, and this includes the almighty astronauts who walked on the moon.

The first moon landing happened in 1969, and the last one took place in 1972.

Apollo 17 was the last lunar landing mission which saw astronauts collect samples from the surface of the moon. Most of us have definitely watched the famous moonwalk clips of the astronauts moving slowly in space or jumping on the moon due to new gravity. Now, a new clip is doing the rounds on social media which claims to show "bloopers" during moonwalks.

The 13-second-long blooper reel was shared on the Twitter page Black Hole @konstructivizm with the caption: "Bloopers from NASA showing astronauts losing their footing while walking on the moon."

In the clip, we can see astronauts taking some hilarious falls while trying to walk on the moon. Despite the fact that the video was not shared on the official social media profiles of NASA, it got netizens talking. It has over 4.92 lakh views on the microblogging website, along with more than 13,500 likes and almost 2,000 retweets.

One user joked, "This is what happens when you don't know how to do the moonwalk." "And some say we were never on the moon," wrote another user.

There were many who thought that the video was fake because of the aged conspiracy theory that the moon landing never happened.

"Why haven't we seen this footage before? I'll wait," questioned one user. "There is no gravity on the moon!! We all know that!! Noticed the ground dirt falls off easily. At zero gravity. It suppose to flow like dust particles into the moon's thin atmosphere or into space!!?? Video is a fake. Made up in a Studio on Earth," wrote another user.

"You know what I find odd. All you people talking about the dirt don't seem to question the rebound/reflex speed of their backpack/gear bouncing back into position so quickly," said a user.
