A case has been registered against Lalit Kumar Dayal, a native of Mongolpuri, Delhi, for endangering the lives of tourists and the general public present on the beach, The Times of India reported.
In the video, Dayal can be seen driving a Hyundai Creta SUV on the beach and later getting stuck in the sand. The occupants of the vehicle were seen trying to pull it out.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jivba Dalvi told IANS that the accused was driving a Hyundai Creta vehicle, registered in Goa, which has been seized following the incident.

An FIR under Section 279 and Section 336 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered.
Dalvi informed that a report against the car owner Sangeeta Gavadalkar from Mapusa has been submitted to RTO. Anjuna Police Inspector Vikram Naik is further investigating the case.
Earlier this month, a similar incident was witnessed in Ladakh. A couple from Jaipur was seen driving a Toyota Fortuner in the sand dunes in Hunder of Nubra Valley despite directions from the local authorities not to do so.
The couple were later fined Rs 50,000 by the Leh Police.
The car had a Delhi license plate, however, the couple was from Rajasthan.
Before that, a group of tourists were seen driving a car in the pristine Pangong Pso lake in Ladakh.
In the video, two men can be seen with half of their upper bodies out of the sunroof of an Audi car as one man drives it in speed in the lake. Not just that, a foldable table and chair can be seen installed in the lake with food and alcohol bottles atop.
