Last year when environmental quality analyst and drone pilot Hunter King was mapping shoreline erosion near Escanaba in Michigan's Upper Peninsula with a Phantom 4 Pro Advanced quadcopter from 162 feet in the air, the drone was attacked by an eagle, that sent the drone plummeting into Lake Michigan.
The drone, worth $995 (Approx Rs 70,000) was making its return journey at a speed of 22 miles per hour, when it was attacked by the eagle and sent into a downward spiral.
The drone and eagle rivalry could be the new form of the man-animal conflict.
