So, a lot of people have always wondered if Musk was always this eccentric, or did that happen with time?. Some people also have a running joke on the internet that Musk may actually be an alien. The billionaire hasn't approved of this theory. Is that why he wants to colonise Mars?. We wonder.
Well, we don't know about the alien bit but Musk has definitely always been a little strange. A Twitter account called 'Weird History' shared a photo of young Musk when he was 17 years old.
The page is popular for posting weird information from history on the microblogging website.
The picture of a teenager Musk is captioned with: 'Elon Musk, at 17-years-old, visiting his cousin¡¯s farm in Canada wearing ¡°a hat on a hat¡±. Genius!'

A hat on a hat means, ¡®an unnecessary addition to something that was previously working without it¨Clike putting a hat on top of another hat. In comedy, this is used when placing two funny things too close to each other so that they distract from each other.¡¯
People left comments like, 'What a genius right! A hat on a hat! Who would think that 'It¡¯s founding a few companies that changed the world that does it? Elon would have looked just as a genius if he was wearing a cape' and 'His outfit reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite.'
