A recent video from Faridabad shows a man doing exercises by hanging from the balcony of the 12th floor. In the now-viral video, the man is seen holding on to the railing of the 12-floor balcony of the building and doing some stretches.
Human beings have a fair idea of what is dangerous and what could lead to fatal consequences. Despite having the intellect to understand risky situations, this man proved that we can still make very poor choices in life.
A recent video from Faridabad shows a man doing exercises by hanging from the balcony of the 12th floor. In the now-viral video, the man is seen holding on to the railing of the 12-floor balcony of the building and doing some stretches.
In the background, a woman's voice is heard saying, "Exercise kar raha hai (He's exercising)."
The footage shows the man getting back inside the balcony just before the video comes to an end.
"This man needs a counselling session as he is out of his mind and if he is doing for fun then a strict action should be taken against him as the society kids can copy him," wrote one user.
Another commented, "Exactly the same could have been done on the opposite side of the balcony! He is not using the space under the floor lever or over the railing level, anyways! He is stupid to not think of the more efficient way."
This comes after a video of a woman living on the 10th floor of a high rise building dangled her son by a bedsheet to drop him on the floor below and get a saree that had fallen there. The incident was reported from the Florida apartment complex in Faridabad's Sector 82.
The video showed the son clinging to the bedsheet while his mother and other family members pulled him up. The video was shot by a concerned resident of the opposite building who witnessed the entire ordeal. According to one of the neighbours, the woman did not seek anyone's help or advice on how to get back her saree from the locked house and decided to endanger her son's life. The neighbour recording the video can be heard saying that if the child falls down, nothing will be left of him. He also says that "aise bhi log hote hain (there are people like this)".
The woman was severely criticised on social media for putting her son's life at risk.
"Heights of carelessness, insensitivity & irresponsibility," IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra had said while posting the video on Twitter.
The management of the apartment complex has issued a notice to the woman to explain the act.
