In a heartbreaking incident a herd of elephants was seen carrying a funeral procession of a baby elephant as they wept and mourned the death of their loved one The video of the incident was shared by a Twitter user Parveen Kaswan who is also an IFS Indian Forest Services officer. The video has gone viral now and has garnered over 118 K views and 4909 retweets.
In a heartbreaking incident, a herd of elephants was seen carrying a funeral procession of a baby elephant as they wept and mourned the death of their loved one. The video of the incident was shared by a Twitter user Parveen Kaswan, who is also an IFS (Indian Forest Services) officer.
In the video, an elephant can be seen carrying baby elephant on its trunk as the herd follows and mourns the death of the baby. By the end of the video, the elephant can be seen carrying the dead child down the street while waiting for the herd to arrive. As soon as the herd arrives, they continue with the funeral.

Very touching and emotionally disturbing. Elephant's capacity for complex emotions like grief is truly remarkable. Elephants never carry their healthy babies. There is obvious alterations of behavioural patterns. We have not yet fully deciphered animal cognition.

Another heartbreaking news made headlines after a shocking video was shared by 'Moving Animals', that showed under-fed animals being forced to dance to rave music, and even ¡®play¡¯ musical instruments in Phuket¡¯s Zoo in Thailand.
The Facebook page called 'Moving animals' revealed that an elephant who was branded as the ¡®real-life Dumbo¡¯ was tortured in the zoo. It also said that the elephant¡¯s legs became so weak that they broke and he died a week later.
The cause of death of the baby elephant is still unknown.
Animals are very sensitive and emotional just like us. They can also feel and express the pain they are going through just like these elephants did! Elephants and dogs are considered one of the most emotional and sensitive animals and trust me just like how we are defensive and attached to our family, animals have the same emotion.
