King Charles III's Coronation Will Have His Life-Size Bust Made From 17 Litres Of Melted Chocolate
In a bizarre feat, to celebrate the coronation of King Charles, a life-size bust of him made from litres of melted chocolate will be displayed.
With King Charles¡¯ coronation right around the corner, all of England has launched into a spirit of festivities. The latest addition to the display is a life-size bust of the King made from 17 litres of melted chocolate. Yes, you heard that right!
Life-Size Bust Of Chocolate To Make Appearance Before King Charles' Coronation
The bust weighs over 23 kg and took over four weeks to design. It is created by a team of expert chocolatiers and model makers who somehow figured out how to recreate the profile view of King Charles III, which will soon grace the fronts of bills in the UK.
The figure was even modelled after the clothes King Charles is set to wear at the coronation. The whole bust is made using the Celebrations chocolate boxes found in England. Different chocolates from the box constitute different parts of the bust, making the flavour profile of the sweet treat much more interesting than just having sweet chocolate all over.
For the epaulettes and ornamental shoulder pieces, the experts making the bust used Twix bars, Milky Way, Galaxy, and Bounty Celebrations chocolates. The iconic confectionary chocolate, Maltesers Teasers, has been used to make the collar of the new monarch. While the medals on the chocolate version of Charles¡¯ chest are garnished with Snickers.

The Life-Size Bust Was Specially Commissioned By Celebrations
Chocolatier Jennifer Lindsey-Clarke was one of the main experts behind the iconic creation. According to the Mirror, the bust was created by melting roughly 2,875 Celebrations chocolates.
Emily Owen, the senior brand manager of Celebrations, said, "The team studied hours of footage of the King to capture his true likeness, and the resemblance is uncanny." She added, "Celebrations are all about bringing people together, and we are thrilled to be sharing this occasion with so many chocolate lovers up and down the country."
The bust of the King will be on display at Mars Wrigley UK¡¯s headquarters in Slough. The bust was commissioned by Celebration for the special event. The company is also set to launch a limited-edition coronation tub before the official throning of the King.
For those who are unaware, King Charles¡¯ coronation will be held at the Westminister Abbey on May 6th. With the ceremony, Charles will officially be king after waiting for over 70 years to head the monarchy, the longest any king has had to wait for his turn on the throne.
During the historic coronation ceremony, Charles will be anointed with holy oil. He will accept the orb, ring, and sceptre before being crowned and blessed in front of the entire kingdom.
