'That's Crazy': Man Drives Truck-sized 'Grocery Cart' On Road, Stuns The Internet
A bizarre video going around on the internet captures how a man rode his custom grocery cart ride, which was much like a truck, around town.
Kart rider IRL! Locals in the US were left gaping at a man riding a super-sized grocery cart occupied much of the road. In the past, similar videos of a red grocery cart truck-sized vehicle roaming around San Antonio, Texas, U.S., have surfaced on the internet.

The video went viral on Instagram with nearly 270K views on the platform. The vehicle whizzed past what seemed to be the countryside, as people in cars stared up at the gentleman driving the jumbo ride.
The men behind the camera were stunned and practically howling at the rider who sat meters above the ground on his jumbo-sized ride. In the clip, they exclaimed as they noticed the king-sized cart riding along the freeway. One man from behind the camera gave ideas about hijacking the cart, ¡°We are hijacking this.¡± While another acclaimed his love for the country that never stops giving, ¡°I love America.¡±
As the dudes joked about the cart on the clip, one went ahead and shocked people with his evil plan to hijack the custom ride and laughed, ¡°Hit his tires there¡¯s no way he¡¯ll live through that.¡± We are sure that all of it was just part of a joke and not an actual evil plot to take over the iconic ride.
The Cart Ride Started As A Christmas Project

The larger-than-life basket on wheels started off as a project to build a Christmas toy drive. The owner of the cart, J Rueles, told KENS 5, ¡°I wanted to do something, I had just finished a radio fire wagon for the Shriners. And I didn¡¯t have nothing else for this Christmas season this past year so I said I needed to do something different and that¡¯s when we just started looking around and we saw a shopping cart and said how about that and said why not.¡±
It took Rueles two months to build the monster cart ride but he was not alone. Several companies came into the picture as many individuals wanted to be part of something extraordinary. Rueles also shared how people on the road often stop him and want to take pictures of his ride even asking him why he built such a thing and he always answers with a simple, ¡°Why not?¡±
People on the Internet were certainly curious and stunned after seeing the cart on the road. One user wondered, ¡°Is this legal? Not judging just genuinely curious.¡± While one estimated, ¡°Dude if one of those highway bridges is just a bit lower than normal¡¡±
