This time the food delivery service shut down a bigoted customer who cancelled an order just because the delivery guy was non-Hindu. He threatened to remove the app and said hed discuss the issue with his lawyers. It's 2019 and it's sad to see just how narrow-minded people can get.
Just cancelled an order on @ZomatoIN they allocated a non hindu rider for my food they said they can't change rider and can't refund on cancellation I said you can't force me to take a delivery I don't want don't refund just cancel

According to the user, he wanted to change the rider because he was 'non-Hindu'. He also said that Zomato was forcing him to take deliveries from people he didn't want delivering his food and was refusing to refund his money for the order.
