India conducted airstrikes in Pakistan¡¯s Balakot in the early morning hours of February 26. A day after the airstrikes, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was flying a MiG-21 as a part of a sortie when he got involved in an aerial fight with Pakistan¡¯s F-16 and crossed into Pakistan¡¯s territory.
He was then placed in Pakistan captivity for 60 hours and on March 1, he returned to India. His release was termed as a ¡®goodwill gesture¡¯. The whole country celebrated his return to India and people gave him a well-deserved hero's welcome. He was praised for his heroic actions inside Pakistani territory.
When in Pakistan¡¯s captivity, a video was purportedly released by Pakistan Army where Wg Cmdr Abhinandan was asked questions by the Pakistan army and he patiently replied to all the questions saying that ¡°I am sorry, I am not supposed to tell you this¡±.
Now, Pakistan¡¯s Jazz TV has stooped to a new low and released an advert to create hype around the World Cup clash between India and Pakistan on June 16. Mimicking Wing Commander Abhinandan, the ad shows a model who look is made to look like the IAF officer with his trademark moustache in a Blue jersey and holding the ¡®tea cup¡¯ in his hand, answering questions on camera.
At the end of the video, taking a dig the person behind the camera says "Chalo you can leave now, but ek second ruko cup kaha leke jaa rahe ho?"
While the IAF officer was calm and patient, the model is shown frightened and jumpy in the World Cup ad.
Not only is the advert mocking a sensitive issue that can raise tensions between both the nations, the ad is also racist and shows Abhinandan¡¯s face blackened.
On the other hand a new 'Mauka Mauka' advertisement has been created that mocks Pakistan. As expected, the ad mocks Pakistan's poor record against India in ICC events, with Pakistan failing to win a single match against the Indian Team in World Cups so far.
The video shows actor Vikas Malhotra, who plays the Pakistani son remembering his father's words on how one should keep trying and never give up. The Indian fan in the ad uses the opportunity and says 'Maine Aisa Kab Kaha?' taking the 'baap' dig.
Here is the video:
This #FathersDay, watch an ICC #CWC19 match jo dekh ke bas bol sakte hain, ¡°baap re baap!¡± ?
