Inmate Was Busted After He Posted TikTok Videos About Life In The Prison & Was Shifted To High-Security Prison
The unidentified detainee was posting clips on to social media platform TikTok but prison staff finally discovered them.
There is a reason that people are thrown into prison after committing crimes. A prison as we all know doesn't really provide the freedom and luxuries we have in our day-to-day lives.
Basic things like good food, clothes and even cellphones are completely out of sight. However, an inmate found a way to get a cellphone inside and used it to make videos about his life in prison.
The unidentified detainee was posting clips on to social media platform TikTok but prison staff finally discovered them. The inmate has now been moved to a high-security prison after 17 mobile phones and 13 SIM cards were found.
He had been incarcerated at the Dalton Crespo Prison, in Campos dos Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he shared clips of his routine including him making a toasted sandwich. On that specific clip, he had written: "bom dia pra todos que deus proteja Nosso dia todo Mal," which, if Google Translate is anything to go by, means: "good morning to all God protect Our day Evil."
After discovering the clips on TikTok, the officials at the Secretary of State for Penitentiary Administration (SEAP) ordered a search of the prisoner's cell where they discovered 17 mobile phones, 13 sim cards and a small number of drugs.
The profile, which has 4,202 followers on TikTok and more than 14,000 likes, also has footage showing the prisoners playing football, cleaning inside the unit and showing off some of the contraband items.
Since the discovery, the inmate has been transferred to high-security prison La¨¦rcio da Costa Pellegrino. Well, he shouldn't have been posting videos in the first place.
