After Monkey, Snake Tries To Slither Into ATM In Ghaziabad, Hair-Raising Video Goes Viral
The huge reptile was spotted inside an ICICI Bank ATM kiosk. It managed to enter the glass enclosure the security guard locked it inside. Its presence led to chaos among customers and onlookers. The snake was rescued by forest department officials who rushed to the spot.
Since the lockdown, wild animals have been making their presence felt in places they were never spotted and it might be due to minimal human and traffic movement.
More recently, animals also seem to be taking over ATMs in some places. A large snake was seen slithering into an ATM kiosk in Ghaziabad. The incident was filmed and shared on social media and has now gone viral.

I guess after the clean up of NPA and stoppage of loan disbursal services through phone banking the snakes in our system had to find a way to get the money out .

"Ye andar chala gaya (It has gone inside)," customers can be heard saying in footage.
The incident took place in the Govindpuri area of the city. Videos of the large snake at the ATM are being widely circulated on social media and over messaging platforms like WhatsApp.
The matter was then communicated to the area MP, General VK Singh (retd), from where the forest department was intimated. A team was then dispatched to the location of the ATM in Govidpuram's J block.

The snake was rescued by forest department officials who rushed to the spot on being informed of its presence. According to Jagran, District forest officer, Deeksha Bhandari, said the snake was non-venomous.
This incident comes after a monkey was caught on camera damaging an ATM in Delhi's South Avenue area. The primate entered a State Bank of India ATM kiosk.
In the video, the animal pulls open the front panel of an ATM located in South Avenue area of Delhi. It inspects the machine a little more before going away.
