Why Did She Decide To Marry Herself?
Wilkinson chose to give herself a diamond engagement ring on her 40th birthday during the pandemic-induced lockdown. Since then, she hasn't stopped considering getting married to herself rather than waiting for "Mr. Right."
"I believe there comes a time when you ask yourself, 'I might not have this with a partner by my side, but why should I miss out?'" It was a case of why not utilise it for something I want to accomplish because it's there and was set aside for my wedding, she told the BBC.
