Day Of Miracles: UK Mum Beats Odds By Having Three 'Rainbow' Babies On The Same Day

Emma, 42, was told she would never be pregnant, but she defied 'crazy odds' of 133,000 to one by having each of her babies on the same day. Despite this, she says she felt she'd 'finished a miracle' when her third son, Arley Jay, was born on June 20 this year, along with brothers Alfie James, seven, and Jesse Joe, four.

The Warrington wedding planner has endometritis, a permanent illness affecting the womb's lining that can result in losing kids during pregnancy.

Emma says she felt like 'Bridget Jones' after being informed she'd need to start a family early due to potential future difficulties as others gave birth around her while she tried to conceive.

So she was taken aback when she and her partner, Dave Mycock, 39, welcomed Alfie James in 2016. The couple's bewilderment evolved into disbelief after their two younger kids were born on the same day in succeeding years.

Her boys are all 'rainbow babies,' a term for a child born quickly after a miscarriage, making them even more remarkable. "If you were to put a wager on a horse with such odds, you'd never imagine it would come in as a winner, but we certainly did-three times," Emma said.

"It's a complete miracle, magical, and we're just absolutely and utterly blessed," says one. Whether someone is gazing down on us or whatever else you want to call it, all three sons are miracles in their own right.'

The mother hopes that when the three are older and can reflect on the remarkable event, they can go out to enjoy the day together.

Emma joked that she and Dave could maintain their good trend if they had a fourth kid; there was no element of planning the date of the births. 'Everyone has laughed and joked, "It must be their wedding anniversary!" she added.

Emma added, "The only thing we've laughed about is that we occasionally vacation in September. However, there is no planning. You couldn't plan for it because your body cycle fluctuates anyway."

Due To Endometritis Emma Had To Plan Baby At An Early Age!

Emma was diagnosed with endometritis at 18 and endured eleven surgeries to free her body from the excruciating ailment.

Unfortunately, it resurfaced and got more aggressive after each treatment, and physicians advised her that having children early in life would offer her the best chance. Over the years, she watched longingly as loved ones had children, assuming she would never have the same opportunity.

"I felt heartbroken as I watched friends and family members have children, certain that it would never be my turn," Emma explained. She added, "I was always the Bridget Jones of the bunch, watching them have kids and families and everything. I honestly never imagined that would happen to me."

After meeting carpenter Dave, they wanted to start a family, but she regrettably miscarried early on. Despite this, she gave birth to Alfie James at age 35, and a few years later, she became pregnant again with Jesse Joe in 2019¡ªthis time after a miscarriage.

She¡¯s even arranging their future birthdays, commenting: ¡®It¡¯s like having two Christmases because obviously that is in December, and we¡¯re smack dab in the midst of the year, six months round.

Alfie and Jesse will have their 18th and 21st birthdays on the same day. 'So it's a good thing I've got lots of time to start saving and planning for it because it's going to be a pretty important occasion for us as a family,' she says. Emma describes herself as a "spiritual person," indicating that June 20 has a numerical significance relating to her and Dave's birthdays.
