UK Museums Play Out Their Own Little Joke, Turn Paintings Into Hilarious Memes On #MusMeme Day
International Museum Meme Day saw museums across London convert old paintings and artefactsinto memes using the hashtag #MumMeme. The meme spans every museum-goer and non-museum goer turmoils be it touching things that youre not supposed to touch or turning up five minutes before the museum closes.
We live in a time where memes govern the way we express ourselves. From being sad to happy or just bored, memes have the potential to make things all too relatable.
And for this year's International Museum Meme Day, it seems like museums across London went berserk by converting old paintings and artefacts into memes using the hashtag '#MumMeme.' And from artefacts and Renaissance paintings to stone sculptures, nothing was spared.
The meme spans every museum-goer and non-museum goer turmoils, be it touching things that you're not supposed to touch or turning up five minutes before the museum closes and it's hilarious and all too relatable.
