UK Cops Bust Illegal Baby Naming Party With 50 Guests, Couple Plead For An 'Extra Hour'
Cops in Wolverhampton arrived at the house after loud music was heard - once inside they found a party going on complete with live music, buffet, decks and marquees.
A couple from the UK, who threw an illegal Christening party in lockdown begged police to 'give them an hour' to carry on celebrating.
According to the Metro UK, the couple was in complete denial about the pandemic and told the cops that they didn't believe anything about COVID-19.

Some of the guest had travelled all the way from London to the bash in the suburb of Blakenhall.
Footage caught on police body cams shows the baby's dad complaining to police that they had spent a lot of money on the party before saying he 'didn't believe in the virus' and asking police to 'give them an hour' before breaking it up.

He can be seen telling officers upon their arrival at the house in Blakenhall: ¡®I¡¯m christening my small baby, we¡¯re just having a bit of a party.¡¯ He then admits only four people live on the property after being told by a female police officer: ¡®No parties are allowed¡¯.
Superintendent Simon Inglis, from Wolverhampton Police, told Metro UK, "This was a reckless breach of COVID-19 rules at a time when the deadly virus is spreading and harming our communities."
"It was clearly pre-planned and bringing together this many people at a residential property is not only illegal, but increases the risk of any infections being passed on. We¡¯re fully aware this is a really difficult time for people, but we won¡¯t be able to control this disease and return to a sense of normality if we allow such events."
The couple were fined a whopping Rs 9,62,485 for violating COVID-19 rules.
