Uttar Pradesh: Suspecting Her Of Having An Affair, Man Sews Wife's Genitals

In a shocking incident, a man from UP's Rampur reportedly sewed his wife's genitals with an aluminium wire because he thought she was having an affair. According to TOI, the incident comes from Milak area of Uttar Pradesh¡¯s Rampur district.

The accused, a driver, managed to pull of this twisted act of revenge after first entrapping her in a 'fidelity test.'

The wife reportedly agreed to the test and even let her husband tie up her legs and hands. Once tied up, her worst nightmare unfolded right in front of her eyes. The man then fled the scene leaving his wife bleeding.

According to IANS, the woman managed to inform her mother who then took her to a hospital for treatment. She then followed this up with a police complaint. Late Saturday evening, the man was arrested.

Rampur SP Shogun Gautam told reporters, "The medical examination of the woman has confirmed that she has suffered serious injuries. We have arrested her husband and he will be sent to jail. We are ensuring that she gets proper treatment at the district hospital."

The IANS report goes on to say that the confirmed that she was often beaten up by her husband. She also had a baby that died soon after birth.
