Turns out, this is not the first something like this has happened and someone went viral for doing absolutely nothing. In July, Indonesian YouTuber Muhammad Didit had posted a video of himself doing nothing but staring into the camera for over two hours.
The video titled '2 JAM nggak ngapa-ngapain' translated into English as '2 hours of doing nothing' had garnered more than 2 million views in less than a month of being posted online.
'It all started from the Indonesian society urging me lately to create content that educates the youth ¨C finally with a heavy heart and reluctantly, I did. BOOM, thus the creation of this video but if we were to talk about its benefits, it all depends on you the viewers to filter and that is my only advice to all of you and hope that you will be entertained and benefit from this video', Didit had written in the video's description.
An Indian man also tasted fame back in September when he decided to chant 'Modi ji' for straight 24 hours on the Indian Prime Minister's birthday.
Looks like going viral on the Internet is no big deal now.
