The video was posted on an Instagram page ¡®Be Bodywise¡¯ which promotes women¡¯s wellness.
Needless to say, people haven't been able to come to terms with the claims.
Mercury is a heavy metal and prolonged exposure can cause a variety of illnesses lmao.

Actually it's a colour coded temperature checker. Also, since mercury is poisonous, it slowly relaxes your body. Very slowly...

According to World Health Organization, ¡°exposure to mercury ¨C even small amounts ¨C may cause serious health problems, and is a threat to the development of the child in utero and early in life.¡± It also has toxic effects on the nervous, digestive, and immune systems of the body.
This isn't the first time such unscientific claims have been made about sindoor. In 2019, some speakers at a Science conference at Bhopal¡¯s Regional Institute of Education (RIE), said that sindoor helps in ¡°balancing blood pressure."
Seriously? Sindoor balances blood pressure? The claims had not only outraged the audience but also the Science community who said that the discussed papers do not have any scientific basis and should not be allowed in future conferences.
