She took to her social media handles to make this big revelation. Calling it the ¡®hardest decision¡¯ she¡¯s ever made, 29-year-old Ananya posted a long note on X account where she said that it¡¯s become impossible to juggle both.
¡°Guys, this has been the hardest decision. I've reached a stage where balancing both the businesses I run and am building + music is becoming near impossible and it's taking a toll on me in ways that l can't express,¡± wrote Ananya Birla. ¡°Thank you for all the love for the music I've released over the years. I hope one day we can appreciate English music made by our own people as there is so much talent in our own country. Thank you again,¡± she added.

Apart from being the inaugural Indian artist to achieve platinum status in India with an English-language single, Birla is also the founder of Svatantra Microfin, a microfinance company, and Ikai Asai, a design house. Additionally, she joined the board of directors at Grasim Industries, a flagship entity of the Aditya Birla Group, last year.

In 2022, she was featured in the song "Inaam" for Ajay Devgn's web series, Rudra: The Edge of Darkness. Additionally, she recently collaborated with Armaan Malik to sing the track "Jazbaati Dil" for the film Do Aur Do Pyaar, starring Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi.
