Anybody else find it humorous that Facebook is the only successful idea he's had...and he stole it...

So it will be like Twitter then except that you have to airbrush out any nipples and every other post will be an ad?

Meta Planning A Twitter Rival
Recently, it was reported that Meta is building a dedicated Twitter-like social media application for people to post text-based updates. The product is still in its early stages, and no release date has been set, but legal and regulatory teams have already begun to investigate potential privacy concerns surrounding the app to address them before launch, as per IANS.
Several rival platforms have launched or gained traction in the months since billionaire Elon Musk took over Twitter - among them are Mastodon, Post.news, and T2.

Jack Dorsey's Twitter Alternative
Earlier this month, Twitter co-founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey came back into the social media game, with the launch of his Twitter alternative called 'Bluesky'. Just two weeks ago, Bluesky launched its beta test on the Apple app store.
Dorsey had first come up with the idea for Bluesky when Twitter banned former US president Donald Trump. Just like Elon Musk, Dorsey perceives content moderation differently. He had said at that time in a Tweet that moderation efforts "can't erode a free and open global internet."
If you wish to access Bluesky, you would have to get on the waiting list via the website. Then, the beta version of the app may be downloaded from the app store - invite-only!
It appears that Bluesky is a lot like Twitter, as TechCrunch reported. It asks "what's up?" instead of "what's happening" with a character limit of 256 characters and a simpler option to add images. Just like Twitter, it allows users to see updates on the Home timeline with different feeds for just "posts" and "posts and replies."
