More than two decades after it was first proposed in the year 2001, the foundation stone for Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar was finally laid yesterday, on 25th November 2021. While the first phase of this airport in Uttar Pradesh is set to be completed by the year 2024, this airport will become not only India*s but even Asia*s biggest airport by the time all four of its phases are finished.
