Paytm Strikes Deal For Mobile Payments In Ayodhya
Paytm has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ayodhya Nagar Nigam, to enable Nagar Nigam facilities with mobile payments using Paytm pioneered QR code, soundbox and card machines. This is aimed at providing seamless mobile payment services during the much-anticipated inauguration of the Ram Mandir in the city. With this, Paytm will enable mobile payments at various departments in collaboration with Ayodhya Nagar Nigam.
Through this MoU, Paytm will also deploy card machines at cash collection centres under State Nagar Nigam departments. As per Paytm, the MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Girish Pati Tripathi, Honorable Mayor, Ayodhya Nagar Nigam. The company is taking mobile payments far and wide, driving financial inclusion across the country.

Ram Mandir's Inauguration Ceremony In Ayodhya
The grand inauguration ceremony of Ayodhya's Ram Mandir is set to take place on 22 January (Monday). Dozens of VVIP guests, including India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the grand ceremony.
As per a PTI report, over 7,000 people are on the invitee list of the temple trust and they include Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Virat Kohli and billionaire industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.
