Besides Satya Nadella, another Hyderabad born tech CEO is Shantanu Narayen. Born on May 27, 1963, Shantanu had joined Adobe in 1998. He had earned a bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from University College of Engineering, Osmania University in Hyderabad and then moved to the US to complete his education. Later, he received a master's degree in computer science from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Post that, he did his MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.

Born on February 9, 1968 in Ghaziabad (UP), Nikesh Arora graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, BHU in Varanasi with a bachelors of technology degree in electrical engineering. He also holds a M.S. degree in Finance from Boston College and an M.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University, and also the CFA designation since 1999.
