A part of his long post mentioned ¡°Some chapters are shorter than others. Unfortunately, I was among those 10% Tesla employees that got affected yesterday. However, despite the relatively short period of time, it had been an amazing opportunity experiencing the Tesla culture and working for the leading global EV powerhouse- I leave with tons of reflections and learnings.¡±
Andrea Armagost, who was working as Manager, Learning Development & Technology, Energy Training and had joined Tesla in February 2021, too confirmed her layoff in a post on LinkedIn.

Another employee hit by layoffs is Christopher Bousigues, who worked as country manager at Tesla Singapore, and had joined in June 2021.
He wrote in his LinkedIn post four days ago ¡°Tesla announced a 10% of workforce reduction. My role was chosen to be eliminated as of today. Am proud to have been the company¡¯s first country manager in South East Asia, and establishing the business in Singapore. In the past year the team and I built the business from the ground up, made of the Model 3 a common sight in the Singapore car landscape, set up 2 showrooms, 1 service center (that I affectionately call the Jewel of Asia), developed a network of 7 superchargers across the island, and successfully launched Model Y yesterday with overwhelming response.¡±
