Many users reacted to the tweet where some complained that the link didn't seem to be working. Responding to such queries, the official handle responded that the link is only working for iOS and Web. The company is working on the android version, which will be available soon.
Back in January, a post by X read, ¡°Over 1 million job postings are now live on X! Looking for a new gig? Make your next career move using X Hiring: https://x.com/jobs".
The post was then re-shared by X's owner Elon Musk.
A similar post was also made from the X Business handle which read, ¡°There are more than 1 million job postings live on X right now! Companies across AI, financial services, SaaS, and more are finding qualified candidates using X Hiring every day."
Since its inception, 'X Hiring' has been a part of a larger plan to expand the range of services offered by X.
Elon Musk has mentioned that X might soon obtain approval for a money transmitter license in New York, enabling the platform to introduce payment functionalities. During the Morgan Stanley technology, media, and telecom conference, Musk stated that X's California license approval could be expected within the next month. However, approval in New York might take "a few months," he added.
In 2022, Elon Musk acquired the company and has been working towards transforming it into an "everything app," akin to China's WeChat by Tencent. The goal is to incorporate features beyond social media into the platform.
