Toyota's First Electric 3-Row SUV To Be Manufactured In The United States
The world's largest Toyota plant is switching to electricity. The business said on Wednesday that it would begin producing its new three-row electric SUV in Georgetown, Kentucky, in 2025. Here's what we know so far:
Toyota's first electric SUV to be manufactured in the US?

With a capacity to build 550,000 vehicles annually, the Toyota Kentucky factory is the company's largest production facility internationally and will now take the lead in Toyota's efforts to reduce vehicle carbon emissions in the US.
Toyota claims that its new battery factory in North Carolina will supply the batteries for its three-row electric SUV. In the late 2021s, the factory was first made public. According to Toyota's announcement made today, the facility would receive a further $2.1 billion in investment, bringing the total up to about $6 billion.
Six production lines for lithium-ion batteries? will be used at the NC plant. Andy Beshear, the governor of Kentucky, stated that Toyota is committed to maintaining 700 full-time jobs with a $591 million investment for upcoming projects in Scott County.
The car is planned to come out in 2025?
Toyota's first US-built EV, due in 2025, won't have any new details, but we do know it will be a three-row electric SUV, one of 10 new electric vehicles the company plans to introduce internationally.
