Everyone's been harping about how we need to be environment-friendly and how going plastic free is the need of the hour - but hello, what have we done?
Indian Railways is acing its game once again to make us all proud and happy about its services. In a move that will change the face of one of world's biggest railway network, Vadodara Railway Station and vowed to minimise the use of plastic and has installed bottle crushers.

In fact, the team has also gone a little further to announce that passengers travelling in some of the luxury trains will get eco-friendly, disposable plates made of bagasse over plastic.?
¡°A Small Step to Beat Plastic Pollution: On #WorldEnvironmentDay, Indian Railways has started using fully biodegradable packages in 4 Shatabdi and 4 Rajdhani trains from Delhi, contributing towards a greener planet (sic),¡± Railway Minister Piyush Goyal had tweeted.
¡°Provision will be made to collect the used packaging, which will then be processed for disposal through composting to ensure environmental sustainability,¡± it said in a statement.
