We, the common people, take simple things for granted. We do not think twice about performing simple tasks like strolling down the street or getting dressed for work.
But for Ronnie and Donnie Gaylon, everything they do, from going out to even sleeping takes an amazing effort, cooperation and compromise. Why, you ask? Well, these two 65-year-old brothers are the oldest living conjoined twins in the world! Yes, you read that right!

What¡¯s more, the doctors believed that they wouldn¡¯t survive a day when they were born!

In an interview with Nine Lives Media1, their younger brother Jim, revealed that when they were born in 1951, the doctors had written them off and predicted that they wouldn¡¯t even make it through the night.

Six decades later, they are living a happy life barring some health complications.
"They're one body, but very much two human beings," says Jim.
Ronnie and Donnie have four arms and four legs but they share a lower digestive tract and pelvic area. In fact, they have spent every waking minute of their life, face-to- face!
According to ABC News, the twins used to perform in a?circus and did sideshow acts before retiring in 1991.

Life is not at all easy but with the help of their younger brother Jim, the twins?relax at home and go about their daily routine smoothly. A customized bed from Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital has also played a vital part in their life. This bed allows them to sleep better and has improved their quality of life ten-fold.
Jim¡¯s wife, Mary Galyon, told MLive.com that this bed has been one reason why the twins have made it this far.
