Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life Box Office Collection Day 2: After its successful premiere against "Manjummel Boys," all eyes are now on whether Prithviraj Sukumaran's film can outshine Mohanlal's "Odiyan" in the Malayalam cinema landscape in terms of box office performance.
Continuing its blazing streak at the box office on Day 1, "Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life," spearheaded by Prithviraj Sukumaran and Amala Paul, has garnered widespread acclaim from critics and audiences alike. This further cements Prithviraj's stature as a powerhouse in Malayalam cinema. With the film already surpassing the opening-day figures of "Manjummel Boys," all eyes are now on whether it can eclipse the box office records set by the blockbuster "Odiyan."
On its debut, "Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life" amassed an estimated Rs 7.60 crore across India. According to trade tracker Sacnilk.com, on its second day, a collection of around Rs 6.50 crore for all languages was made.
The film commanded an impressive 75.09% occupancy in Malayalam theatres on March 29, 2024, marking a significant rise from its opening-day occupancy of 57.79%.
In addition to its Malayalam success, the film has also made notable strides in other languages.
Breaking down the total collection, Malayalam contributed Rs 11.82 crore, followed by Tamil with Rs. 1.2 crore, Telugu with Rs. 0.9 crore, Kannada with Rs. 0.09 crore, and Hindi with Rs. 0.09 crore.
Starring Amala Paul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, KR Gokul, and Shobha Mohan in lead roles, "Aadujeevitham" gets into the poignant narrative of immigrant struggles in Arab states, drawing inspiration from the eponymous novel by Benyamin.
Helmed by director Blessy and boasting a stellar musical score by AR Rahman with sound design by Resul Pookutty, the film has captivated audiences across multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam.
"Aadujeevitham" was eagerly anticipated by both fans of Malayalam cinema and readers of the original novel. They were excited not just for its entertainment value but also for its exploration of important social issues.
