Dahaad, a freshly released online series starring Sonakshi Sinha, has gotten rave reviews. According to spectators, Sonakshi was dubbed the "lady dabangg" and "lady chulbull panday" because of how well she performed. While several people praised the actress for her performance, TV actress Kamya Punjabi apparently had a different opinion.?
In an interview she talked about ¡®actors jinhe acting bhi nahi aati.¡¯ Although she refused to name anybody, but by taking hints from what she said, people felt she was referring to Sonakshi.
She told Hindustan Times, ¡°I started that show aur mujh se ek episode se zyada hazam nahi hua because unko bilkul acting nahi aati.¡±
She added, ¡°But what can one do... she is the daughter of a veteran, and then she is doing the web show.¡±
According to Mirchi Plus, Kamya also spoke about OTT vs Cinemas a while back. She said, ¡°I¡¯m not the kind of person who¡¯d be like, ¡®Oh, I want to get into films or OTT¡¯. I love television more and that¡¯s my priority. My first love is television, and I am very happy doing TV,¡± she reasons, adding, ¡°Also, I feel an actor is an actor whether you¡¯re working on the small screen or OTT or the big screen. Many big actors come to promote their web series on TV shows only.¡±
If offered a fantastic job in OTT, Kamya Panjabi was asked if she would think about her options. She acknowledged that she had a few worries about the prospect of working for OTT but she insisted that she would never sacrifice TV.
The synopsis reads, ¡°Dahaad is an 8-part crime drama that follows Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati and her colleagues in a small-town police station. It all starts when a series of women are mysteriously found dead in public bathrooms. Sub-Inspector Anjali Bhaati is tasked with the investigation.¡±
