Buddy OTT release date Netflix: When to watch Allu Sirish's latest film

Actor Allu Sirish's film Buddy has set its OTT release date only a few days after its theatrical release. The movie was released on 2nd August and it did not do very well in terms of ticket sales and reviews. Both viewers and critics and underwhelming reactions to the film. It is now releasing on OTT and it will be interesting to see if the film gets a second life in the world of streaming. Buddy will be released on Netflix on 30th August 2024.?

Plot

Pallavi is a severe accident victim who works as an air traffic control officer. In order to sell Gayatri's body parts in Hong Kong, the doctor and his team put her into a coma. While all of this is going on, Pallavi's soul travels through a teddy bear to the house of Aditya Ram, a pilot with whom Pallavi had a previous relationship. The remainder of the tale describes how Aditya and the teddy bear travel to Hong Kong in order to save Pallavi's body.

Cast and crew

Under the Studio Green Films brand, Buddy is directed by Sam Anton and produced by K.E. & Aadhana Gnanavelraja. Along with Ajmal Amir, Mukesh Kumar, Ali, and numerous more actors in supporting parts, the film stars Allu Sirish and Prisha Rajesh Singh in the key major roles. Hiphop Tamizha composed the music.

The movie was formally announced on May 31, 2023. Sam Anton, the film's director, disclosed that it would be filmed in Telugu, making it his first film to feature in that language. Thailand, Hyderabad, and Goa were the locations for the shoot.
