One of the most anticipated movies is Devera, which features Jr. NTR and Koratala Siva reuniting after a very lengthy break. Devara is also noteworthy because it's Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's Telugu debut.
The actor Kalyan Ram, who is now occupied with the promotion of Devil, his next movie, revealed that the rights to the movie have been acquired by an OTT giant.
According to Times Now, Kalyan Ram reports that 80% of Devara's filming is over. The crew intends to provide a sneak peek shortly and will reveal the release date after VFX is finished.
It will be released on Netflix.
As per OTTPlay, the film might land on OTT in May 2024.
Kalyan Ram told Gulte.com, ¡°For me, Devara is bigger than Game of Thrones and it will be the best on the Indian screen. We have dug a tank that is 40 feet deep and shot underwater sequences very extensively. If you look at the set pieces built by Sabu Cyril, who is not working on any other project than Devara from last year, you will be amazed. And more than anything, ¡®tammudu¡¯ NTR¡¯s hard work takes Devara to the next level¡±
India's coastal regions serve as the backdrop for the two-part movie Devara. Jr. NTR will play the character that comes from the coastal areas. In association with NTR Arts, Yuvasudha Arts is producing the film. Veteran editor A Sreekar Prasad will oversee the film's editing, while R Rathnavelu will handle the cinematography. The movie's first segment is slated to premiere on April 5, 2024.
Following Devara, the actor from RRR is slated to play an opponent in Ayan Mukherji's next movie, War 2, which stars Hrithik Roshan in the major part. The movie, which will be released in 2025, also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead.
