TV Empress Ekta Kapoor is at the centre of controversy, and this time, even the Supreme Court is upset. The court criticised the producer for the offensive material in her web series "XXX" on Friday. It appears that the Supreme Court has put Ekta's life on a more precarious edge like Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
Ekta Kapoor's appeal against the arrest warrants issued against her for allegedly disrespecting troops and harming their families in the web series that was broadcast on her OTT platform ALTBalaji was being heard by the Supreme Court.
Justices Ajay Rastogi and CT Ravikumar said, "Something has to be done. You are polluting the minds of the young generation of this country. It is available to all. OTT (Over The Top) content is available to all. What kind of choice are you providing to the people?....on the contrary you are polluting the minds of youngsters."

Senior attorney Mukul Rohatgi, speaking on behalf of Ekta Kapoor, said that although a petition had been filed with the Patna High Court, there was no guarantee that the case would be scheduled for hearing any time soon. The court agreed and made the remark.
According to Rohatgi, Ekta Kapoor had already received protection from the highest court in a related case. He claimed that the country allows for freedom of choice and that the content is subscription-based.The court then questioned what type of choice is being offered to people after deferring on imposing costs.
The court stated, "Every time you travel to this court....we don't appreciate this. We will put a cost on you for filing such a petition. Mr Rohatgi, please convey this to your client. Just because you can afford and hire the services of good lawyers....this court is not for those who have voices."
The bench further observed, "This court works for those who don't have voices...if these people who have all kinds of facilities if cannot get justice then think of the situation of this common man. We have seen the order and we have our reservations."
The warrant was issued by a trial court in Begusarai, Bihar, in response to a complaint made by an ex-serviceman named Shambhu Kumar. In his 2020 complaint, Mr Kumar claimed that the television show "XXX Season 2" contained multiple offensive scenes involving a soldier's wife.
The central idea of XXX is an erotic anthology series examining many facets of romance, lust, and love.
