First Act: Darsheel Safary, Sarika & Jugal Hansraj Talk About Downside Of Being A Child Actor
Recently, the trailer for the documentary series First Act was released. The show follows child actors and their parents as they make their way to the Hindi TV and film industry.
A couple of kids are heard in the trailer explaining their aspirations to become actors. While one says she wants to be on TV, another claims she can achieve "everything" by becoming an actor. Actress Sarika talks about her experiences as a child performer in the video. Additionally, Jugal Hansraj makes an appearance and talks about his role as the lead in the 1983 film Masoom. Darsheel then appears and explains the terrifying aspect of being a young actor.
First Act emphasizes the need of giving kids a secure and well-rounded upbringing and the vital roles that businesses and parents play in making sure kids are protected.?

Who All Are Expected To Feature In First Act?
The program tells the unvarnished, real-life stories of former child performers including Parzaan Dastur, Sarika, Jugal Hansraj, and Darsheel Safary who went on to become successful actors. It offers a comprehensive examination of the dynamics of working with young artists in the industry and includes perspectives from well-known directors who have worked closely with them throughout their careers, such as Shoojit Sircar and Amole Gupte, as well as casting directors like Mukesh Chhabra, Honey Trehan, and Tess Joseph.
Amaal Mallik is the composer of the docuseries' background score and music. Deepa Bhatia is the producer, writer, and director of the series.

Amole Gupte is the series' creative producer, working under the MalaKan Motion Pictures label.
The docuseries is set to premiere on Prime Video on December 15.
