One of the most loved web-series Gullak, which is hailed as a breath of fresh air, is all set to embrace our OTT screens with a new season. The shooting for Gullak season 4 is going on already. If the latest reports are to be believed, the makers of the show have been accused of littering in public during the shoot in Bhopal. As a result, they had to pay Rs 10,000 fine. Here's what happened.?
As reported by Free Press Journal, the incident took place in Bhopal outside a mall in Trilanga locality. For a sequence, the team consisting of 20 people had set up cameras in the vicinity. They allegedly threw the used cups and plates carelessly on the spot, which didn't go down well with the locals, who in turn reached out to municipal corporation authorities.
As the officials reached the location upon receiving the complaint, they halted the shoot. This led to a heated argument between the authorities and the makers of the show. It is said that the officials had asked them to submit the permission documents. The team however refused to cooperate. They asked the officials to speak to someone on the phone. After a heated argument, the team members ended up paying Rs 10,000 fine.
The shooting for Gullak season 4 had begun a couple of months ago. Harsh Mayar who plays Aman Mishra in the series, shared a behind-the-scenes photo and wrote, "Ye chaar log ek saath....?! This can only mean one thing."
The show also stars Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Sunita Rajwar, Deepak Kumar Mishra and Saad Bilgrami among others.?Season 3 had premiered in 2022.?The show is produced by TVF fame Arunabh Kumar.
