The Internet is buzzing as Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan will co-star in the first Pakistan-themed Netflix Original. The 2013 Urdu novel Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, written by Farhat Ishtiaq is the source material of the series.
Deets About The Show
Sikandar, a Harvard law student, "who witnesses a life-altering incident," and Liza, a gifted artist with a "troubled past," are the main characters of the program, according to Variety. They cross paths in Italy.
Sanam Saeed and Fawad are also reunited in the series following their successful Barzakh episode of Zindagi. Other cast members include Khushaal Khan (Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri), Ahad Raza Mir (Resident Evil, World on Fire Season 2), Hamza Ali Abbasi (The Legend of Maula Jatt), Bilal Ashraf (Superstar), Maya Ali (Parey Hut Love), Iqra Aziz (Raqeeb Se), Hania Aamir (Parde Mein Rehne Do), Nadia Jamil (Jo Bichar Gaye)?
The show will be set across Italy, UK and Pakistan.
Fawad and Mahira will once again collaborate on a series based on Humsafar's author. The two performers appeared in Bilal Lashari's action movie from the previous year called The Legend of Maula Jatt.
Fawad¡¯s Struggle With Type-1 Diabetes
In an interview with a YouTube channel FreeStyle Middle East, Fawad shared his experience of being diagnosed with diabetes, ¡°I used to be 65 kgs and went down to 55 kgs at the age of 17.¡± He later went to the doctor after the weight loss, ¡°I was given insulin and I have been on insulin since the age of 17 and today, I am 41 so it has been a career in Diabetes for 24 years.¡±
He also added, ¡°First 2-3 days, it didn¡¯t really hit me. I think it was a trip back from Rawalpindi once. I was sitting in the backseat and it was the first time I think I broke down and I started crying and I was like ¡®why did this happen to me?'"
A series featuring such a stellar ensemble will be fantastic to see. Everyone is aware of how much Fawad Khan is beloved for both his profession and, obviously, his appearance. The same is true of Mahira; admirers adore the actress's talent and beauty.?
