Mr. Housekeeping OTT Release Date: Hari Bhaskar¡¯s latest cinematic outing has been awaiting a digital debut for a long time. Despite being announced once, it was indefinitely postponed. But it is now finally ready for your phone screens. Mr. Housekeeping will be streaming on Tentkotta starting March 25, 2025. Written and directed by Arun Ravichandran, this Tamil film earned Rs 1.84 crore globally.
Released theatrically on 24th January, Mr. Housekeeping also stars Losliya Mariyanesan, Rayan, Ilavarasu, Jawahar Sakthi, Shah Ra, Uma Ramachandran, M. J. Shriram, Nithin Manohar, Bava Lakshmanan, Hello Kandasamy, Mahima, VJ Ashiq, Lakshmi Priya, Harii Muniyappan, Gaayathri Krishnan and Mageshwaran among others. Produced by N Ramasamy and Nithin Manohar, this Osho Venkat musical is cinematographed by Kulothungavarman R and edited by Rama Subbu.
The Times of India rated the movie 2.5 out of 5 and a part of their review read, ¡°The confusion and conflicts that 'love', 'live-in' and 'situationship' create for a few characters are entertainingly narrated. Though Mr House Keeping has some decent twists and turns, the predictability in the third act is a letdown. It seemed to have been rushed for that generic climax that the audience had been anticipating. An innovative third act or a surprise towards the end would have been more appealing.¡±
Honest Raj (Hari) and Isai (Losliya) ended things in college when she rejected him. Four years later, Honest, still struggling, takes a housekeeping job at a villa, only to discover it¡¯s owned by Isai. They reconnect, and Honest hides his job from his family, pretending to work at an IT company. As they grow closer, Honest calls off his engagement to Priya, thinking Isai loves him, but Isai starts dating Harish (Rayan).
Despite Honest¡¯s efforts to win her over, Isai eventually realizes she misjudged his feelings and breaks up with Harish. Months later, Isai, now realizing her love for Honest, proposes to him, and they finally end up together.
