Even Before Release, Prabhas' Salaar Strikes Extravagant OTT Deal, Reportedly Sold For 160 Cr
After the debacle that was Adipurush, Prabhas is on a mission to redeem himself. His upcoming projects seem to hold a lot of potential and have managed to create humongous buzz, be it Project K or Salaar.

Salaar is even more awaited because it has been helmed by KGF fame director Prashanth Neel. In fact, the film has already courted a handful amount of controversies, specially, the alleged clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki. Rumours started floating that the team of Salaar wasn't happy about the clash as it feared that the spotlight will only be on the Raju Hirani-directed film.?
Putting all the speculations to rest, the makers recently proved otherwise when they started the trend #50DaysToSalaarCeaseFire on social media and this has spiked the anticipation for the film even more.
As per recent developments, it is also being said that the makers will release the trailer of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceaserfire by the end of the month or early December as the film is set for a Christmas release. Expectations are sky high as the maker Prashanth Neel made his Yash-starrer KGF series a phenomenon. Loyal fans of Prabhas are hoping that he will be able to create the same magic for their beloved superstar.?
Trade analysts are predicting that Salaar is likely to enter the Rs 1000 crore club considering its potential.
Salaar is said to have a run time of 2 hours and 50 minutes with the song sequences amounting to 10 minutes.

According to grapevine, the film has joined forces with OTT giant Netflix for its digital rights and the makers Hombale have sold it for a whopping Rs 160 crore. No official confirmation has been made on the same.
Apart from Prabhas, the movie boasts of a star-studded cast, including actress Shruti Haasan (female lead), actor Prithviraj Sukumaran (villain), and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.?
Salaar is set to have a multilingual release, as it will hit screens across the country in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.?
Set in the 1980s, Salaar delves into the gripping backdrop of the limestone mafia.
