Woman of the Hour OTT release date has been announced and it has made fans go gaga because of all the right reasons! With this true-crime thriller, Anna Kendrick is making her directorial debut and by the trailer that was recently released, we can bet it's going to be a thrilling visual ride. After Woman of the Hour made its world premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival, Netflix acquired the film's US distribution rights. So, Woman of the Hour will be released on Netflix on 18th October 2024.

Plot

The main character in Woman of the Hour is Kendrick's character Cheryl Bradshaw, who, in 1978, wins a date with Zovatto on The Dating Game without realizing that he is concealing a criminal past.

Cast and crew

Ian McDonald's script, which was included on the 2017 Black List, was adapted for the screen by Anna Kendrick. The film is produced by Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz, and Raphael Margules.

The real-life murderer, portrayed by Zovatto, is Rodney Alcala, a native of California who was accountable for several additional crimes in addition to at least eight killings committed across the country.
