When stand-up comedian Vir Das lost his dear pet Dr Watson he wrote an emotional tribute for his pooch. Many celebrities who adored their fur babies have taken to social media to share the unfortunate news of losing them.

Virat and Anushka's beloved pet beagle Bruno passed away in 2020. Heartbroken, the couple posted an emotional tribute for their fur baby. "Rest in peace my Bruno. Graced our lives with love for 11 years but made a connection of a lifetime. Gone to a better place today. God bless his soul with peace," wrote Virat while sharing a picture of Bruno.

Vir Das's pet dog, Dr Watson, died in 2021. Sharing the news with his followers, the comedian shared a heartbreaking post elaborating the beautiful relationship he shared with his pooch. Earlier this month, on Watson's one year death anniversary, Vir shared another emotional tribute to his pet along with a caption that read, "My boy passed on a year ago today. This is for anyone grieving."

Many loved the beautiful bond shared between Amitabh Bachchan and his beautiful Piranha Dane named Shanouk. In 2013, the actor shared the news of his demise via a Twitter post that read, "The gentle warm breeze on a cold morning "..just stopped. Shanouk my pet Piranha Dane passed away a short while ago."

"Goodbye my angel," wrote Alia while sharing a picture with the cat. Mother Soni Razdan also penned an emotional note for the pet that read, "RIP Sheeba. We named you after the Queen of Sheeba because from day one you had such a regal air. My mornings will never be the same again. Thank you for the abundance of love you blessed me with Sheebles will miss you so much."
