Controversies surrounding Pathaan¡¯s new song Besharam Rang aren¡¯t in the mood to stop. Amidst public protest on the streets of Indore, ministers of all wings have started criticizing the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer song. Now, thinking that things have gone overboard, Baahubali producer has slammed BJP¡¯s Narottam Mishra.
ANI tweeted MP¡¯s Home Minister saying, "The film 'Pathaan' is full of faults & based on toxic mentality. Lyrics of song 'Besharam Rang' & saffron&green clothes worn in the song need to be corrected or else we will take decision on whether to let the film's screening happen in MP or not.¡± Quote-tweeting his remark, Shobu wrote, ¡°We are really hitting rock bottom now !¡±
He quotes as per ANI, ¡°The costumes in the song at first glance are objectionable. It is clearly visible that the song of the film Pathaan has been shot with a dirty mindset. I don't think this is right, and I will tell the director and makers of the film to fix it. Earlier also Deepika Padukone came in the support of Tukde Tukde Gang at JNU and that's why her mentality has come in front of everyone before.¡±
Meanwhile, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj also took to Twitter and wrote in Hindi, "There has been an insult of saffron and Hindu Sanskrit in Shah Rukh Khan's film Pathaan. Why is the film censor board sleeping? We will impose a ban! The Hindu Mahasabha will oppose it. Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, National President, All India Hindu Mahasabha (sic)."
Not just BJP, Congress¡¯ LOP Dr Govind Singh also condemned the song saying, ¡°The picturisation of the song and the costumes are highly objectionable. This has been done purposely and is a conspiracy to display indecency. I strongly condemn it. These things are not acceptable in Indian culture.¡±

Actress Payal Rohatgi condemning the remark made on the colour of Deepika¡¯s cloth told Aaj Tak, ¡°I remember being a part of a reality show where our costumes were of the same colour. We used to wear them, kick them and sometimes even tear them off with anger. Does that make us wrong? People who raise objections to such a thought process are really silly. I feel that such kinds of acts just prove that they are doing it for publicity only.¡±
