Kangana in an interview with Dainik Bhasker had commented on the situation in Bangladesh. Comparing the situation with farmers' protests in India, she said that the same condition could have erupted in India during the farm protests. She?added that bodies were hanging and rapes were taking place during the protest against the now-repealed three farm laws. She also alleged the involvement of China and the US in the "conspiracy".?
In a statement issued by the party, it said, "The statement made by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut in the context of the farmers' agitation is not the opinion of the party. The Bharatiya Janata Party expresses its disagreement with the statement made by Kangana Ranaut."?Furthermore, the statement added that Kangana is not authorised to make statements on the party's policies and has been asked not to make such comments in the future.?
